The legacy of experience

The legacy of our tradition is presented with expressiveness and typicity in these old and beautiful vineyards of the Castilian plateau to create great Rueda whites; Unique wines, fruit of the land, the sun and our hands, a reflection of our history;

Finca La Colina

Located in the municipality of La Seca, the heart of the Rueda D.O., this estate is one of the most important and beautiful in the region, home to some of the oldest Viura, Verdejo and Sauvignon Blanc vines in the entire appellation;

With a beautiful entrance through a pretty almond tree path and surrounded by vineyards and a unique gravelly terrain, we reach the heart of the estate, where we find, on the top of a small hill, a house surrounded by a magnificent pine forest from where we can contemplate a fantastic view of the surrounding countryside; view of part of this unique payment;

We apply the technology in a rational way, with prior analysis of the soil, correction of deficiencies if they are detected, maturity controls through successive sample collection, looking for the optimum time for harvesting;

In our eagerness to preserve tradition and achieve the highest quality, we maintain old vineyards with low yields but very high quality combined with new plantations;

Our grape varieties

Brown lands furrowed by the waters of the majestic Douro river, well-tended vineyards on a gently rolling plateau, small prosperous villages devoted to the creation of wine; This is Rueda and so are its varieties;

Verdejo

Today considered as an emblem of Rueda, it is an autochthonous variety of the area;

Vigorous, horizontal strain with early to medium budding and ripening; Small cluster, visible peduncle and medium-small berry; Dark green orbicular leaves, with some glossiness and medium size;

Its wine has hints of scrubland and fruity touches with a slightly sweet sensation, due to its powerful alcohol and counterbalanced by its excellent acidity;

Sauvignon blanc

This variety, one of the two most sought-after white grape varieties in the world, is originally from France, although it has adapted magnificently to the Rueda terroir;

It is an early budding and fast flowering strain and its clusters are distinguished by being small and compact;

It needs loose but fertile soils that do not tend to waterlogging;
